Many vets are relieved when I can perform this service for their clients.
They know it is better for you and your pet.
They would do the same in your position. Not many vets put their own animals to sleep without giving at least some sedation. They would definitely do it at home.
But if you are concerned, why not ask them? Give them a call and tell them you would like to use my service.
