Sometimes, I can learn all I need by talking to you and watching your pet during the home euthanasia visit.
I generally advise against a full and proper vet examination at this stage. During examination, both dogs and cats quickly recognise there’s something strange going on – there’s a vet in the house!!
An examination may cause distress – and that is what I am trying to reduce.
